There are also opportunities to progress into expert and leading teacher roles, and to work in other areas such as children’s services.

This four-year degree gives you the choice of four specialist education streams, all of which include 80 days of classroom experience. You can study to be a primary school teacher, a special education expert, or a primary and secondary school teacher. It’s up to you.

You will learn the fundamentals of teaching, including language and literacy, maths, learning theory and concepts of wellbeing. You’ll then study subjects relevant to your specialisation.
